The Paradise that i found . I went with a friend to a place called Boca Chica.
Little did I know at the time what I would be in for.
We went to the beach, grabbed a lounger, ordered food and drinks and the rest is HISTORY...
Thanks to the Spirit (air) very affordable fare, I fly from Florida into the Capital of the Republic Dominican and drive over to Boca Chica.
The Parco del Caribe embraces me roughly every two months....And with open arms and a Heart as large as the country. The people are very friendly and warm making sure that I have a Great time weather I am on the beach or in the town.
The smiles and hugs bring a joy to my soul that I touch and appreciate. My cares are transformed by the beauty of views on the beaches, water is clear and welcomes me to come on in and enjoy. The places for reasonably priced tasty food are located in close range of the Parco del Caribe. The beat of Latin music fills the air as does the smell of the good food.What more may I ask for, it is here for me.

hello Nicoletta , i am sorry I did not have an opportunity to spend more time with you while I was at the hotel.
We were very busy with family and friends and never seemed to have enough time ....
But I wanted to take a moment to tell you we very much enjoyed our time at the hotel and in Boca Chica!!!
The place is very well kept, beautiful, amazingly nice staff and secure .
It truly felt like a home away from home, I loved it.
Also great location!! close to the beach and the main street full of bars and good italian restaurants .
I will gladly and happily stay in your hotel again and recommend it to anyone I know!

I have been coming to the Dominican Republic for many years now.
One of the best kept secrets is the Playa Marina.
The Staff is friendly and speaks many languages and they treats you like family every time.
I visit about 4 times a year.
The price is very good and the apartment always clean and comfortable.
The place is gated for safety and there is always someone at the recepcion.
Located one small block from the beach and shopping, this place is perfect for someone that want to enjoy themselves and like the personal touch.
I always feel safe in the area as long as you follow the general rules that all tourist should follow. Now, you know my secret get away too. Enjoy.

Residence ok … amusement assured
My name is Rita and in February 2006, I decided to spend three weeks in Boca Chica, in the south coast of the Dominican Republic. Usually I organize my travels alone, trying to visit the places but also to understand the culture and habits of the local people. Some friends of mine suggested me to stay at “Playa Marina”, a nice and familiar place, very close to the beach and to the main road. I went … and I had the chance to know Nicoletta and the Dominicans working with her. They gave me all the suggestions how to spend at the best the day and the night. They taught me how to dance and often all together we went out in the discotheques. I never had a moment of loneliness. I found the Dominicans friendly, happy and gentle people. The beach is beautiful and the sea warm and clean. The climate is fantastic all year long and the rains very few, also in the rain time. It has been a beautiful holiday, amusing and economic. I met a lot of interesting people.

Last year I went with my friend Anna to Las Terrenas, in the north coast of the Dominican Republic. The frequent rains, during the 15 days of our holiday, did not allow us to enjoy the beauty of the beaches and of the country, so we decided to spend another holiday in the Dominican Republic. We found on the internet “Playa Marina” and the description of Boca Chica convinced us to visit the place. It seemed even too beautiful: sun, beach and fabulous sea with warm water … the only doubt was the fear of delinquency. We went … and we realize that is was not a dangerous place at all. We spent two beautiful weeks going everywhere during the day and the night, without having any problems. We felt perfectly safe. Boca Chica is close to many interesting places and to Santo Domingo, the capital, a very interesting town that offers a big choice of amusements and historical monuments. We found “Playa Marina” a friendly and well organized place, where everybody is always kind and available for any suggestions. There is no doubt, that very soon Boca Chica and” Playa Marina” will see us again and we hope to have the same apartment, that for two weeks has been … our house.
A dream indeed!

Hello Nicoletta, I wanted to steal you a minute to thank you, but above all, your Dominican collaborators, for the hospitality, the courtesy and the gentility. Believe me, I felt  better than in my own house; they really are fantastic and friendly people. Moreover I wanted to thank  your friend Fiorenza, a woman of great humor, kind, available, always ready to organize magnificent evenings. I hope to meet you in my next travel to the Dominican Republic and I pick the occasion to transmit my greetings to all the people who I have had the fortune to know.

with Agnese and Angela have wished for a long time to spend a vacation in the Dominican Republic. Finally on February 2007 the occasion arrived and we left for Boca Chica. Today in the light of what I have lived, I can say that this vacation has been much over of mine expectations: it is for sea … ”PARADISIAC”, it is for my companions of travel … “FANTASTIC”, it is for the people known at “Playa Marina” and in the beach … “MAGNIFICENT”, it is for our excursions ... “MYTHICAL”.
We have entered easily in tune with the people of the place, the local kitchen, and with the apartment where we lived ... On the day of the departure there has been a big emotion … and between the tears we have promised that we would have returned soon … !!!
