NIKI SUGGESTS YOU
Hello guys !!!
I write to try to help you to move better and to remind the
most important things written on the guide’s pages.
My name is Nicoletta, I am Italian (I beg your pardon for
my “poor” english) and I have managed Playa Marina
in these last years and I tried to do my best, to make your
holidays pleasant and interesting.
On the beach of Boca Chica, I suggest one of the numerous
Italian restaurants, where you can taste very good plates
and for the clients, chairs and umbrella are free: “Colibrì”,
”Puerco Rosado”, “Gabbiano”, “Terrazza
Cesar” and … others.
If you like to swim, you can reach the small island “matica”,
… but if it seems too far, you can go with a boat and
you will find yourself in a suggestive natural landscape,
where you will feel ... alone in the world and far away from
everything.
In the “Duarte”, the main street and heart of
the daily and nightly life, you will find numerous bars,
restaurants, telephone and internet centers, supermarkets
and a new store full of Italian specialities.
Besides the Italian restaurants: “Pasta e Pizza”,
“Pequina Suiza”, ”Lucien”, “Italy
Italy”, etc …
I suggest the Dominican restaurants “Fernando”
and “La Criolla”, where you can eat typical foods
at a very cheap price. I remind you, the bars and restaurants
on the beach open till late night: “Pesciolino”,
“Boat House”, “Neptuno”, “Boca
Marina”, where you can have a dinner or just taste a
drink. The beach at night is beautiful, romantic and suggestive
… !!!
You can spend your nights in the numerous bars: ”Zanzibar”,
“Liquor Store”, “Austria”, in the
discopubs: “Piano Plaza”, “American bar”,
“Isla Bonita”, or in the discotheques: “Ambaradan”
and “El Greco” open all night.
In Andres, a few miles away, there are more terraces and discotheques:
“Mundo Center”, “Macumba”, ”Plaza
Mundo”, “Chencon”, where you will easily
meet the local people. The “Tropical” remains
my favourite place because it is on the beach and because
of its lively and happy atmosphere.
You can not miss to spend a night in Santo Domingo, the capital,
visiting the square, Cristoforo Colombo’s house, the
cathedral, the sea front with hotels and casino, and finally
ending in one of the numerous discotheques.
Many are the excursions proposed, all of them interesting,
as “Isla Saona” and “Catalina”. Expert
guides take you everywhere, from the plantations of the inside
country, to the north coast of the Dominican Republic, where
in February and March, tourists come from all over the world
to see the incredible show offered from the whales and their
small ones.
The cordiality of the local people creates a familiar and
welcoming atmosphere,…perfect for the single !!! Who
arrives alone ,from the first day, does not know loneliness.
He gets involved by the music, by the spirit of freedom and
by the easiness to socialize; he fells so comfortable …
as if he was at home !!! You can trust completely the people
that work with me, if you want they will be your guides, teach
you how to dance and accompany you to the capital or to the
discotheques, to spend amusing nights all together.
You will have the chance, in complete freedom, to know the
local people and their lifestyle, you will see the real life;
not like in the village where everything is perfect …and
you could say to have been indeed … in Santo Domingo
!!!
HAVE A GOOD TRIP !!!
